"Wonderful bar with very friendly staff and sociable customers, well worth the visit. Lot's of friendly locals go here and it's easy to chat to people, don't worry about the language if you are not Italian. I have not tried the restaurant but will, I spend time in Livorno with the shipyard Benetti so I will have an opportunity soon. The main street here has lots of shops and a good atmosphere, Livorno has a nice character too -- not overly chic but with a good level of class and friendliness. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby along the canal, I bet that all are good because the Italians know hospitality really well -- you will eat well wherever you go."
